Every year, several churches in Nokomis come together to celebrate Thanksgiving. This year, the Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at Grace Baptist on November 22 at 6 pm. When we think about Thanksgiving, we often think about turkey, family, and football. And while it's fun to celebrate these traditions, the holiday truly has its roots in being thankful to God.
