Take a few moments to reflect on the hopes we have. Maybe you hope for good health and healing for yourself or someone you love. Many of our hopes are for “happy” things.

But maybe you secretly hope for something else.

Maybe you hope for your enemies to get what they deserve.

Today, the first Sunday of Advent, is a great reminder of how all our hopes are fulfilled in Christ.
