Youth Sunday 2019
The Youth of our church will lead us in worship on May 12 (Mother’s Day) this year. They’ve been working hard preparing the Order of Worship, songs, and even the sermon. Brace yourself; it will be different from usual! But praise God that He’s raising up the next generation to lead us to grow in our faith and share the gospel with the world.
The offering that’s collected during this worship service will go into the Youth Fund. Here’s some of the things the youth will be doing this summer that the Youth Fund will help cover:
Mission Trip
The youth love spending a week on mission. This year, we’ll be going to Charleston, West Virginia July 6-12. We will help various churches with backyard Bible clubs, community surveys, and construction needs. Our annual mission trip is actually open to anyone in our church who would like to go. If you’d like to participate this year, send Pastor Chris a message.
Camp
Summer camp is always a blast. Our association (Rehoboth) has a week of camp for each gender and age group. REAL spiritual formation takes place every year. If you’d like to find out more about Rehoboth camps, check out their website or facebook page.
Discipleship Float Trip
The youth are also planning a day of fun and discipleship, while floating ten miles down a river! Date to be announced.
