10 Days of Prayer
Having just completed our first 40 days of prayer, we yesterday began 10 more days of prayer which will lead us into Christmas and prepare our hearts as we remember the birth of Jesus Christ.
As Christmas approaches each year, I hear others say that it’s becoming more difficult to get into the “Christmas spirit” – that feeling of excitement you get as you prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We might attribute this to commercialism, but I can think of no better way to rejoice in Christ than focused, fervent prayer, meditating upon what God has done for us.
